Selena Gomez, an actress and a singer with a huge following internationally. One of the projects she's been a part of that has had the greatest success was the Disney series called Wizards of Waverly Place. Selena Marie Gomez, her full name is. Born on the 22nd day of July 1992, located in Grand Prairie Texas. Amanda Cornett is her mother and Ricardo Gomez is her father. She was just 16 at the time Selena arrived. At the age of 9 Selena was able to make her first role on the stage when she played Gianna on Barney and her Friends. So she was one of numerous children who played alongside Barney, the well-known anthropomorphic pink dinosaur. Selena participated in several episodes in season 7 and 8. The time period was 2001 to 2003. Selena Gomez wasn't the sole singer to work in Barney & His Friends from 2001 to 2003. Demi Lorvato joined the cast too. Following the end of the show, Selena Gomez auditioned for several parts in different programs as well as films, but wasn't particularly successful. After leaving the series, Selena was able to audition for a variety of roles in different movies and programs, but she was not very successful. The role in the film of Emily Grace Garcia was assigned to her in the 2006 film Brain Zapped, for which she composed a soundtrack.
